Trailblazers @ MICROCON 2026 – Youth Edition
- Under the banner of MICROCON 2026, we are proud to launch a special Youth Edition – Trailblazers Initiative!
- This platform is exclusively designed for young microbiologists ≤ 40 years of age (must have completed 40 years on or before 30 June 2026, Proof of age to be attached by participant).
What’s the Opportunity?
- Young microbiologists are invited to submit their most interesting and impactful case from:
- Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI) OR
- Community Acquired Infections
- Selected cases (by jury review) will receive the prestigious opportunity to present in the Grand Round during the Plenary Session at MICROCON 2026 at AIIMS, Nagpur — a national stage to showcase clinical excellence and scientific insight.

- Last Date of Submission: 31 May 2026
- Late entries will NOT be accepted
- Note- Only registered candidates can participate.
FORMAT FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
- Case Details
- Please follow the following guidelines to write your case findings.
- Prepare your case in word format using font Times New Roman.
- No graphics, images or tables should be used.
- Word Limit: 300 words (excluding the title)
- Title: Must be written in CAPITAL & BOLD letters using Times New Roman font of size 14.
- Name of presenting Author
- Case details: Use lowercase in Times New Roman font of size 12.
- File format: Word document (.doc/.docx)
- Participants must email their case findings in prescribed format to: microcon2026@gmail.com
- Subject line of email: “Trailblazers Abstract Submission – [Your Name]”
- Eligibility Criteria
- Registered delegate of MICROCON 2026
- Age ≤ 40 years (must have completed 40 years on or before 30 June 2026)
- One submission per participant
