The Organizing Committee of MICROCON 2026 is pleased to introduce “Quiz the Bugs – Micromind Games”, a monthly quiz series designed to promote continuous learning, quick thinking, and healthy academic competition in microbiology among registered delegates.

Monthly Quiz Series – Guidelines & Instructions
1. Quiz Schedule
- The Monthly Quiz Series will begin on 1 April 2026.
- A new quiz will be released on the 1st day of every month at 7:00 PM (IST).
- The quiz will be hosted exclusively on the official MICROCON 2026 web portal.
2. Eligibility
- Participation is restricted strictly to registered delegates of MICROCON 2026.
- Only participants who have completed conference registration will be able to access and attempt the quiz.
3. Quiz Format
- Each monthly quiz will consist of:
- 15 Multiple Choice Questions
- Total time limit: 5 minutes
- Questions designed to assess knowledge, accuracy, and response speed.
4. How to Attempt the Quiz
- On the 1st day of every month at 7:00 PM, a quiz link will be activated on the MICROCON 2026 web portal.
- The link will remain available only until 7:05 PM (IST).
- Participants must:
- 1. Click the quiz link.
- 2. Enter their registered name.
- 3. Start the quiz immediately.
- No additional login or credentials will be required beyond conference registration details.
5. Important Timing Rules
- Once a participant opens the quiz link, a strict 5-minute timer will begin.
- The quiz must be completed and submitted within this 5-minute window.
- If the timer expires, the quiz will automatically close and be submitted.
- Late access after 7:05 PM will not be permitted.
6. Submission Confirmation
- Upon successful submission, participants will receive an instant confirmation message on the registered email that the quiz attempt has been successfully recorded.
7. Leaderboard (Your Knowledge. Your Speed. Your Rank)
- A dynamic leaderboard will be displayed on the MICROCON 2026 web portal.
- The leaderboard will display the Top 15 participants.
- Rankings will be based on the accuracy of responses and speed of completion
- The leaderboard will update continuously after each monthly quiz and reflect cumulative performance
8. Prizes
- Top performers in the quiz series will be awarded exciting prizes and recognition from MICROCON 2026.
9. Important Instructions
- Participants are advised to:
- Ensure a stable internet connection before starting the quiz.
- Attempt the quiz in a single uninterrupted session.
- Avoid refreshing or closing the browser during the attempt.
- Any unfair practices, misuse, or multiple attempts may lead to disqualification at the discretion of the organizing committee.
10. Stay Connected to Stay Updated
- All quiz announcements, links, and updates will be available on the official MICROCON 2026 website. Participants are encouraged to check the portal regularly.
